Don't try this unless you work for the railroad! This slide was taken while I was employed with Southern Railway in the late '60s. I was assigned to do a series of color slides to show the movement of unit coal trains out of Appalachia for Duke Power in the Carolinas. This shows the two cuts of a 96 car train for Duke's Belmont, NC steam plant. The "Silverside" aluminum gons were pioneers---typical of the Southern's innovations during the decade of the '60s.
