| I kept kind of poor records on this slide but I believe it is the UP8236 in June of 2002. This coal load is 2x1x2 and is in full run 8 climbing the 1% Grade along the Colorado River. This canyon was going to be the site of a huge dam that would have flooded the Valley above the canyon. The rock was found to be unstable and was never built. A couple of large diversion tunnels lie built never used at the base of the cliff. |
