| The east slope of the Cascades are shrouded in low clouds but here in the rich agricultural country along the Wenatchee River valley the sun is shining. Five units hustle a Tacoma-Saint Paul stack train east toward a crew change at Wenatchee where the rear three will be set out before the train continues its journey toward the Columbia and points east on the old Great Northern mainline. |
