Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak Phase I heritage unit #156 is seen crossing the Mohawk River between Glenville and Schenectady, NY. In a matter of minuets a scheduled stop at Schenectady's Station will be made with final destination for this unit Albany\Rensselaer station where it will be replaced with a Dual Mode Genesis unit for the trip to NYC. Take a look at this site for this day and you will notice that the Adirondack was photographed just about everywhere it went on its southbound journey from Montreal where it arrived the day earlier. Something that probably hasn't been seen since the days when D&H equipment was standard in the 70's. Most days people barely pay attention to its passing. |
