Well I shot this photo 34 years ago today, that says a lot to start with! LS&I 2500,2302 stroll east with 51 cars of Tilden pellets bound for Algoma Steel in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. These trains were rare and only operated over about a 3 week period on late March, early April of 1977. Power was all LS&I and mainly GE's but shockingly a couple RSD15's did manage to make the Marquette-Soo yard trip although the cars and cabooses were all Soo Line.
