Amtrak train number 22, the Texas Eagle, screams through Atlanta, Illinois doing the track speed of 79miles-per-hour, on Sunday morning Feb. 13, 2011 behind locomotive #145 , the first of four locomotives that are planned to wear historic paint schemes. P-42 145 carrys a paint scheme first introduced in 1979.
Each locomotive had been previously scheduled to receive a new paint job and is being painted at the Amtrak maintenance facility in Beech Grove, Indiana, according to an Amtrak press release.
