| Alaska Railroad SD70MAC crosses Glacier Creek just a half mile south of Girdwood. In the background are the Chugach Mountains. Some of Alaskas best skiing is in these mountains at Mt. Alyeska Ski Resort. Here you can ride a tram to the top of Mount Alyeska and see the railroad in the valley far below. |
