| Remarks & Notes  |
| My first visit to Alaska in the winter produced a great week of clear skies and cold temperatures. The first train I saw on this trip was a southbound coal train bound for export via the Seward Coal Terminal. Two things about the Alaska Railroad to take note of during the winter not a lot of sunlight and fewer trains, so when you get the opportunity to catch a train in good light it is best to take advantage of the situation. 7 days in Alaska and I photographed exactly 7 trains in the daylight. |
