| Remarks & Notes  |
| An Alaska coal trains winds its way along Turnagain Arm in the Beluga Block in a 3+3+1 configuration. While the railroad is flat here the extra horsepower will be needed to climb Grandview and Divide Hills grades that are in the 3% range. It was a balmy -17 degrees on the day this picture was taken a little over two weeks ago apparently that weather followed me home to Colorado where the last few days we have experienced similar temps. |
