| Sunny centerbeams welcome the 14 as it guides the 14 downgrade through Oakridge. Fresh ballast and ties litter the bed awaiting the gangs currently working southward in the Eugene area. The SP searchlights on both switches at Oakridge are on the brink of extinction as new Darth Vader signals are erected and almost operational. Non-human freight disappeared throughout the day as a track curfew only tolerated the Coast Starlight.
