| CR WHSN-04 switches the Gilberton Coal Co. at Locust Summit, PA on April 30, 1987. No. 9627 is leading a four unit lash up MP15s. I was drawn to the area because of my interest in the anthracite coal fields and a fondness for multiple unit lash ups of switchers. The former Reading lines in the coal fields did not leave me disappointed. |
