Remarks & Notes |
Once again I catch the 1809/1808 duo this time in full sunshine along the shore of Lake Vernon, a few days after shooting them crossing over Bracebridge Falls. Mile 144 is just about the only place you can catch a northbound Northlander on the Newmarket Sub with sun on its face during Eastern Standard time as the line curves sharply to the east to go around the lake and into Huntsville. Kudos to the homeowner on the other side of the road for taking a chainsaw to the trees along this stretch so he could have a better view of the lake, making it better for us all. |
