| The area known as Vicker near Christiansburg, Virginia still hosts a signature landmark on the Christiansburg District – a large 4 Track concrete coaling tower that hovers above the old Norfolk & Western tracks at MP 295.4.
Today, NS Train #759 with engines #8429 & 9897 passes under the tower with a long trail of empty coal cars as it heads back west towards the coalfields. November 2010. |
