Remarks & Notes
General Roca Railroad's nameless local train number 327 makes its scheduled stop at Saavedra station, deep in the wideness of the Province of Buenos Aires' southern prairie. Power of the day was #7049, a model RF615E built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in April 1954. Sister unit #7001, first to be completed and originally #5001, was placed on display at the June 1953 A.A.R. Convention at Atlantic City, N.J., before delivery to Argentina.
