ALCo. RSD16 #8499 entered the suburban station at Hurlingham with a 5-coach commuter train of the General San Martín Railroad during the leisure hours of a Spring afternoon. The four-track mainline through Hurlingham allowed commuter service stops in the outer tracks, while the center tracks (without platforms) were reserved for intercity passenger and freight trains.
