Remarks & Notes |
General Electric export-model U18C, built by Erie Plant in 1957, leaves Haedo with a freight train bound for General Roca Railroad's Kilo. 5 Yard. Train hauled interchange traffic between the four broad-gauge lines of Ferrocarriles Argentinos, linking General Roca's Kilo. 5 Yard with D.F. Sarmiento's Haedo North Yard and General San Martin's Alianza Yard with two round trips a day. Traffic to and from the General Mitre RR. was managed at Haedo South Yard. Picture was taken from the 7-meter-high wooden floor of long gone South Haedo tower. |
