At the end of the tracks for a very special, historic train, the hard-working crew of the Washington and Idaho Railway take a quick break together. From left to right: James, Joel, Stan, Sarah, and Frank (with the hardhat). This IS very last train to operate between Pullman and Colfax, ending the lines 100+ year history. For more coverage, see the Daily Evergreen's report on the move.
A tribute of appreciation to the workers who maintain the track, keeping our railways in shape regardless of weather and danger, and keeping them running effeciently.
