NS 274 heads south between Starkey and Boones Mill on its way down the Winston line to Walkertown, NC. This woodsy location is one of the few places I know of that seems to look as good under full cloud cover as it does in perfect sun. Note the sharp looking SD60 leader with its new paint and A/C box. The unit has also been reconfigured for short hood forward operation (control stand moved across the cab).
