On August 25, 2010, South Shore Freight hosted Surface Transportation Board members and other railroad officials aboard a UP officer car special. The train ran between Proviso Yard and Shops via UP/NS/NICTD. Here, the train runs through 11th Street in Michigan City after dropping off the passengers.
