Remarks & Notes
The northbound Silver Meteor passes through the eastern end of AF Interlocking on a sunny day in early March. I'm not sure if the F40 lead was something required at this time or just my bad luck. F40PH #259 was one of the ones built from SDP40F trade ins (and was classified an F40PHR). Behind it were E9A #420, E9B #473, and E8A #442. Thirty years ago, this was a great spot to watch trains. Wish I'd spent more time there.
