Remarks & Notes |
WC 2401,589 switch out some pulp loads at Trout Lake on a cold winter day. The building to the far left of 2401 was the section foreman's house and had not seen use since the 1950's. Remarkably it still stands today. The closest building to the right was the Standard Oil pump house that was once used to transfer oil/gasoline from tank cars to nearby storage tanks. It had not been used since the 1960's and was recently torn down. The 2401 probably is razor blades by now, and the 589 ended up in South America. All in all quite a few changes in 14 years. |
