| KCS 4702 has finished its stiff climb up Utah’s Price River Canyon and has reached the more open uplands and easier gradient west of Kyune. It’s only a few more easy miles to Soldier Summit. The train is actually BNSF’s QDVPVJ-28, the daily westbound trackage rights train. This is the first time I have ever seen a KCS unit leading a train in Utah.
