Remarks & Notes

Eastbound coal empties, with 18E 18-138 in the lead, pass the impressive grain silos east of Kendal. There is seldom any rail traffic coming out of these silos nowadays, as most of this traffic has been lost to road haulage - a sad state of affairs.
