| NS runs upwards of 50 trains a day through Johnstown, CSX runs 1 train, three times a week. When it comes to serving local industries though CSX gets the upper hand delivering cars for Pepsi, Safety Kleen and a number of scrap dealers. Here the first train of the year with four geeps prepare to back on to a cut of 20 plus gondolas at the CSX/C&BL interchange yard in downtown Johnstown. Note the 'Quality in Motion' stencil on the great looking nose. |
