| Canadian National 0-6-0 7470 eases past the preserved Bartlett roundhouse during the return trip of the Mass Bay RRE Steam in the Snow excursion. The roundhouse, built in 1887-88 by the Portland & Ogdensburg Railroad, was originally six stalls before the Maine Central demolished two stalls in 1951-52. It was used to service helper locomotives that assisted with the westward climb up to Crawford Notch. |
