| It's has become rare to catch an EMD SD40-2 leading the 'Wendover Local' along the incredibly remote Shafter Subdivision. This up one day and down the next local works mineral extraction industries along the southwestern shore of the Great Salt Lake and a 'dirty dirt' burial site at Clive. The UP 3339 was built by EMD as the UP 3791 in Nov 1980. It would be renumbered the 3339 to make way for a new SD70M in 2004. |
