| Remarks & Notes  |
| A rare sight - one of the few remaining class 20s in the UK heading nose-first to Mallaig. This was the second leg of a railtour which had already taken this loco and a class 37 from Preston to Fort William. The 37 is out of sight on the back to save shunting at Mallaig - class 20s are usually banned from running nose-first due to signal sighting issues. The train is seen passing the remote curch at Polnish (which featured in the film Local Hero) below typically rugged Highland mountains. |
