Remarks & Notes

On the siding are WGN's two newest locomotives along with their SW1. Delivered today and purchased from Canadian National are ex-Wisconsin Central (nee-Algoma Central) SD40-2 #6006 and ex-Duluth Missabe & Iron Range SD38 #200. Both units had been retired and drained of fuel for a time prior to sale. WGN crews were planning to fuel the 6006 in an attempt to fire her up for eventual use shuffling storage cars.
