| While making the joint on their lift of 4 gons of scrap steel (note the crew person between the flat car and gon) I manage to catch a faint rainbow over the train. TH&B 73 will pull ahead and back down onto their van and depart Waterford with 8 cars and TH&B van #81. The 2 tracks to the right are the Conrail mainlines (originally Canada Southern, Michigan Central, NYC then Penn Central) between Detroit and Buffalo. The 2 tracks the TH&B local is on are the Conrail / TH&B interchange tracks. All these tracks are now long gone. |
