Elkhart Grain Company 1317 started her life out as ATSF 2812 (GP7) back in October of 1952. Today she sports a paint scheme like the BNSF and serves as the switcher at the massive Elkhart Grain Company grain elevator located along the Union Pacific’s Springfield Subdivision in the small town of Elkhart, Illinois.
