| Remarks & Notes |
| Lancashire and Yorkshire “A” Class 0-6-0 no. 1300 crosses Brooksbottom Viaduct in Summerseat with a train to Rawtenstall on the East Lancashire Railway in the pouring rain. The crew have a taurpaulin sheet between the cab roof and the tender to keep them dry. The cab on this 1896-built locomotive affords very little protection against the elements for the crew. |
