| Remarks & Notes  |
| In the days before German reunification, a coal train between Nordhausen and Silberhutte on the Harz narrow gauge line was the last regularly scheduled steam doubleheader on the DR. FarRails Tours recreated this train during a five day series of charter trains on the former DR narrow gauge, now run as the Harzer Schmalspur-Bahnen (HSB). The coal was loaded in standard gauge four wheel gons carried on narrow gauge "transporter" wagons. |
