While several of us railfans were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the UP 1995 Passenger Special, this Union Pacific mixed freight blasted its way southward about 30 minutes before the UP Special arrived. Considering the tough economic times, the future of trains like this one, as well as their crews, is uncertain. NIKON D200
