A Union Pacific coal load creeps by the aftermath of a derailment in Utah's Price River Canyon. A westbound coal load hit a broken rail on track 1, derailing cars which in turn collided with an eastbound passing on track 2. No one was hurt, but the mess required a couple of weeks to clean up due to the remoteness of the site. A UP highrail is pictured here on track 1, wiring a new ABS signal assembly to replace the original destroyed in the derailment. This location is 1.5 miles west of the crossovers at CP RG632, Lynn.
