Remarks & Notes |
Big West Oil switch engine pulls south across the Center Street crossing on the former D&RGW stockyard lead. The little EMD switch engine was built in 1962 originally for Arizona Public Service. It has served at the Flying J Refinery here since 1993. The refinery stores tank cars in the small yard and remnants of the stockyards as well as provides contract switching services for the UP to two other customers located along this short little industrial spur. |
