Remarks & Notes |
A pair of GP38s lead the "Mountain Work Train" back into the east end of the compact little Essex Yard after running over the divide and down to Browning to pick up single air dump. This job is the only bulletined year round work train assignment on the entire BNSF system, and is ready at a beck and call to keep the pass open. In the background can be seen two skiers returning to venerable 1939 built Inn after a work out on the trails. The famous Inn caters to an interesting mix of cross country skiers, outdoor enthusiasts, and railfans and is a pure paradise if you fall into all three categories like I do! |
