This picture was taken from a rare passenger run over the "Tuajana e Tecate" sponsered by the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum. This little Fairmont Speeder was our chaperone, running ahead of us the entire way along the Mexican portion of the Carizo Gorge Railway, which is known as the Ferrocarriles CZRY de Baja California, S.A. de C.V. This subsidiary of the CZRY is actually the state government of Baja California and I've also seen referred to as Ferrocarriles Peninsulares del Noroeste, S.A. de C.V. They use the CZRY's leased UP motive power, making this little speeder the only power on their roster.
