| On a quiet Sunday afternoon one of Anchorage's more attractive residents waves a friendly greeting to the head end crew on the empty AS&G gravel train winding its way slowly into Anchorage after dumping the final train of aggregate for the 2008 season. The leaves are mostly off the trees and in just a few hours this entire scene will be shrouded in white. But for a few moments the weather is pleasant enough to sit on the shore of Cook Inlet and just admire the changing of the seasons. |
