| Vaughn Road Bridge is long gone. It was a rickety long wood road bridge over the yard and a great place from which to shoot the Q race track. The train has no generator car and the engine no head-end power (it had a steam generator) for the gallery cars (double deckers as we called them). The power for a couple of cars could be provided by the diesel's hotel-load generator because on a September day little heating or cooling would be required in he cars. |
