| Happy Birthday! Built by Beyer-Peacock of Manchester in August 1887, Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway No.957 was exactly 120 years old when this image was taken. The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway frequently hold 'vintage train' days to showcase their locomotives and rolling stock, both restored to superb pre-grouping condition (i.e. before 1923) and looking wonderful in the August sunshine. |
