| The sweeping double track curves at Kinchley Lane have justifiably long been a magnet for visiting photographers at the Great Central Railway. Sadly, the trees on the left are long gone, victims of Dutch Elm disease. I hope this image shows just why the '9F' is rightly regarded as one of the finest designs of the BR 'Standard' steam fleet. |
