| During 2006 and 2007 First Great Western have been refurbishing the HST Power Cars at Brush works with MTU power units. While this has been going on the coaching stock has been undergoing refurbishment at Derby, Coaching Stock and Ilford the Buffet cars. As a result rakes of stock have been moved using a variety of motive power. The contract to carryout the moves was with First GBRf. When First GBRf’s own locomotives were fully occupied they hired in locos from other operators and on 10th July 2007 they hired in 47815 from Riveria Trains to operate 5Z90 12.20 Derby Litchurch Lane to Plymouth Laira TMD, the train is seen here approaching Rewe, near Exeter at 1856 |
