| The Lower 7 is the nickname for the 1st 7 miles of track between Mason City, IA and Plymouth Jct., IA. MP 5 is the only place I have heard the IC&E having a train stuck at this winter. That was due in large part to the 10 mph slow order for those 7 miles. Big dirfts like this one at MP 7 and slow trains dont usually due well together. |
