| Western Maryland Shay #6 sits in the Cass shop currently having here flues replaced. This is only the second time the jacket has been off since it arrived in Cass in 1981. The boiler was lifted off of the frame the last time to get the boiler jacketing off, the jacketing on #6 is alot harder to remove to the size of the locomotive. They where able to get the jacket off though with just a little trouble. The firebox cover has also been removed, flues will start being removed shortly. For more Cass photo's Click Here!
