| CP 5796 approaches the semaphore protected SRYBC crossing. Note the bars at the bottom right connect to the southern semaphores. Before the door was changed for the control shed, switchmen could not open it again while the blocks were up. They sometimes became targets as the locomotive passed the open window ;-/ |
