| 'Mountain Thunder' to the Rescue. Just after 8:30PM, the dinner train returns to Cumberland to unload its passengers some 4 hours after departing. On their way to Frostburg, they lost #502 going around Helmstetter's Curve, which resulted in a hour delay and forced the #734 to lead back east in front of the diesel helpers. |
