The "Triple Seven," built in 1954 as UP 277, leads a Tuckasegee River excursion eastbound while I hide in the bushes along Thomas Valley Road. The first open car behind the engine was picked up in Bryson City and is being deadheaded to Dillsboro, hence the lack of passengers. |
