Far from hauling Bay Area Commuters, Union Pacific GP40P-2 # 1373 South leads train M BNAS (Manifest - Bloomington - Alton Southern) along former Gulf, Mobile & Ohio trackage at Elkhart, Illinois on Saturday afternoon, July 28, 2007. The locomotive was built in 1974 and is one of the three GP40P-2's built, as the last passenger locomotives ordered by the Southern Pacific.
