| A perfect recreation of the way I remember this line in 1983. The 25NC's handled both freight and passenger between Bethlehem and Bloemfontein over this scenic line with many 2 percent grades in both directions. Today it is no longer a through route, the semaphores are gone, and the neatly kept stations have fallen into disrepair. But for 5 days our tour recreated the way it was. |
