Wow! How often do you see a Bandit GP40 leading 2 AC4400s?
The cab car's horn failed on the morning Hiawatha, so when the train got to CUS, they tacked this thing on. Good thing, too!
Some guys have all the luck :) I never expected to have a BNSF SD70ACe and 3 of its sisters leading a Canadian Pacific freight train through Sturtevant! (This was not a detour train)
Glad to see an SD40-2 on the point. (note the removed class lights above the number boards.)
Must've hit some birds or something...
This rail has been here since the Milwaukee Road days.
A grandmother and her grandson stop by the depot to see the local Amtrak pull in.
Another cab car failure on the C&M.
A sight repeated daily. A sight we will one day miss.
Amtrak 334 clears the plant at Sturtevant, with a nice Phase 3 cab car.
The correct leader shines on CP 182.
Fall colors are just slightly coming into the picture (no pun intended)
Parked on the wye for the weekend.
I don't know why the number boards are such a problem on some of these Amtrak cab cars.
In fading light, Tr. 276 glides by the Sturtevant depot.
